Our followers will be aware that our Dynamic Duo – that’s Andy & Dave – backed by their intrepid team behind the scenes - completed the Lands End to John O’ Groats Challenge in May this year - 2010.
That was around 1,000 miles in 12 days Now what many of you may not know is that they raised for the Soldiers Charity a total of
£31,000
So, what’s next? The new name may give a clue! EuroJog can only mean taking on part of Europe
England - La France - España
Yes, that’s from Yorkshire down to Dover, across the Channel (more of this later!), down through France – and down to the South of Spain
Why, you may ask?
No different to the previous – it’s for The Soldiers Charity!
We’re all aware of the devastation faced on a daily basis by our soldiers fighting in many conflicts around the world, especially the escalating Afghan war and the increasing number of soldiers being killed or maimed in action, while we sit helplessly at home.
Many British people would like to help these brave men and women when they return to the UK and for this reason we have devised a challenge to raise a large amount of vital income for the Army Benevolent Fund – The Soldiers’ Charity.
This is our chance to make a difference and our chance to fight for them.We are on the march for our soldiers who are making so many sacrifices and it is our salute to the men who protect us.
Now to the English Channel bit!
No high speed train link for the Duo! Nor any fast ferry boat trip!
